This company founded by Martin Diedrich in 1983 in Orange County, California, is the result of three generations of coffee roasting expertise begun by Charlotte Diedrich on the Costa Rica coffee plantation she inherited in 1916. Her dedication and determination to succeed in the coffee business soon resulted in world wide demand for her fine coffee beans.

Martin Diedrich continues the rich family tradition and pride passed to him by his father, Carl, for growing, selecting and roasting the highest quality coffees from around the world and serving them fresh at coffee houses reflecting the warmth and comforting feeling received by drinking a fine cup of coffee. Martin maintains hands on supervision of the selection and daily roasting of all Dierich Coffee.
